  Solana- which once was falling because of problems- had a comeback at the end of 2023.  How long the comeback will last is unknown?   I have been very busy the last few months so I haven't been able to do any updates. Now that it is the start of 2024, I am going to do several updates. I'm starting 2024 with Ripple (XRP) as the organization won its court case with the SEC. Ripple (XRP) and SEC From Reuters (July 13, 2023) "Ripple Labs Inc did not violate federal securities law by selling its XRP token on public exchanges, a U.S. judge ruled on Thursday, a landmark legal victory for the cryptocurrency industry that sent the value of XRP soaring.   Just a quick note: I am not having any problems downloading daily data on 1000 cryptos from coingecko.com. So far in July 2023, I only had problems downloading data for 1 day.  I will be updating my analysis (charts, etc) in August 2023.

  I haven't posted in a while because I am trying to understand CoinGecko's download policy.  After much trial and error, I seem to be able to download data daily for 1,000 cryptos.  So far in July, I have been able to download data every day.  I will do an update at the end of July. Once I have figured out CoinGecko's data download policy.

  As mentioned in previous posts, I have been experimenting with how not to exceed CoinGecko's rate limits.  In earlier years, I have been able to download a large number of cryptocurrencies but recently I have run into download errors.  In order to not violate CoinGecko's policy, I reduced the number of cryptocurrencies I download daily.  I have also decided not to download data on Sundays so that I am able to ensure that there is a 24 + hour delay between daily downloads. These new download strategies appear to be working well.  I have not run into any problems or warnings from CoinGecko over the last few days.  I will continue this strategy for the next few days.  Once everything appears to be working well. I will start making new charts.
